Smokey Mountain

Remember Smokey Mountain? If not, then sorry, ndi kita ka edad, hahaha (joke). I had a great time playing the album Smokiest Hits, a compilation of their hit songs both from the first and second batch. I have mentioned in my previous blog that I went gaga over Eraserheads, pero mas matindi fanaticism ko sa Smokey Mountain lalo na first batch - Geneva, Jeffrey, Tony and James. I admired them kasi sila lang ang group noon na kasing edad ko and their songs have social relevance. I remember nung lumabas ang album nila, wala pa kaming cassette recorder nun. I was contented hearing their songs thru the radio or sa tv guestings. When we bought a cassette, you bet, it was the first tape ( yes, tape pa uso nun) I bought. Ma di disband na yata sila noon at malapit nang i launch ang second batch (James pa rin, Jason, Zhar and Chedi). Anyway, that's past. I just caught myself amused as I still remember the lyrics of their songs while I played them (after a long long time). Wow, that means talagang dinibdib ko songs nila dati, hahhaha. Cguro nga.
Here's the playlist...you might catch yourself reminiscing about the good 'ol days :)
