Random thoughts on a rainy Saturday night
Some events I look forward to this May:
- Sisters’ household – my last household was way back 2005
- going back to the gym (I have to work double-time, tsk..tsk..tsk…the old weight is slowly coming back huhuhu) – living a healthy lifestyle takes discipline (which I lack, hahaha)
- CLP nights (every Monday) – the good thing about CLPs, even though how many times you have heard the talks, you will always learn something new. I feel like a participant all over again.
- Bonding time with Gen and May – be it in Baguio or elsewhere, it does not matter, we’ll surely have fun =)
- Flu vaccine – have to bring the whole family to Manila to have their shots (by mathematical computation, I would save almost 2,700 bucks as compared to taking the shots here in Pampanga wherein there will be no discounted rate for the vaccines.. but then I would like to bring them to my food haven in Makati…uh oh..I think a big part of the savings will be spent on food hahaha)

Blessings I am thankful for:
- Medical mission at Sapang Palay – my dream of dispensing medicines (feeling pharmacist) coming true. May isa pa akong dream…maging kahera ng supermarket, hehehe
- Early Mother’s Day celeb
- Paper gain
- MYB
- My DG and DG partner
- My AG – thanks for the support and prayers (as in!)
- Had time reading a lot of good books lately

Attended our OPM last Friday and a note in the elevator struck me….
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass….it’s about learning how to dance with the rain…..”
That scored me a bull’s eye!
Oh well, I guess I need to do a lot of dancing these days and yes, it’s raining cats and dogs as I type this (literally and figuratively). For the week that was, God’s grace saw me through. He is in control.

World Chicken is in Pampanga, located at North Walk 2! It’s a notch higher than the Manila branches I would say as it is on a bar-restaurant setting. Branches in Manila are usually located in a mall’s food court area. My eternal favorite meal: chicken (it’s grilled and boneless)-macaroni salad-rice. I once tried to deviate from this meal and I was extremely disappointed……..
I am ecstatic that my food havens in Manila are slowly establishing their branches in Pampanga..First, there was Mang Inasal…this time…World Chicken….next…Mexicali or TacoBell or Tsok.Nut? How I wish!!!! =)

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms!!! Mothers are God’s great blessing to us. No wonder, they are well-loved. As I passed by Goldilocks earlier, cakes are selling briskly. I was kinda amused when I saw my co-passengers…they were all bringing cakes, hehehe. Mother’s Day is a big event in our family (parang birthday). For this year, we celebrated earlier as I will be going back to Manila tomorrow (este later na pala) and Mom is serving in the CLSS. Love you, Ma J
