Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! It's been a year since I started blogging, yeah! A lot of things happened these past few weeks but I was not able to blog them. Sayang! They were all happy moments pa naman ( family and officemates bonding, barkada reunion, parties galore). A New Year always gives me that feeling of hope. Kahit naman sino, ito ang na fe feel. Another year of trials, struggles, triumphs. 2006 was a good year for me as I was able to shift careers. Napakabait ng Panginoon. The year ended with the successful (minor) operation of my mom. Thanks for all the people who offered their prayers esp my Lingkod bros/sisses. Maraming salamat sa suporta. I truly thank the Lord for the gift of community.

In our last PM for the year at Lingkod-CSFP, we were asked to make our commitments for the following year. For my part, I committed to read the Bible completely for this year. Funny that I belong to the community for more than 2 years now but I have not read the Bible yet in its entirety. Yes, friends..that shows how "unfaithful" I am to my scripture time. I feel guilty sometimes as I have read several books (technical, self-help, etc) this year, others, I did in one sitting but the Greatest Book of All Time, I did not even bother to put in my priority list. Cguro for 2006, I have only covered 1/10 of it. Buti pa ang works nina Coelho, Bob Ong, Mitch Albom, Bo Sanchez, nabigyan ko ng panahon..Tsk..tsk..tsk.

I won't be blogging for quite sometime as my mind will be occupied with some important things. I need Discipline, Focus and Prayers. I told my AGL that I will try my best to attend Friday's PM at Makati or Greenhills for those Fridays that I won't be going home ( I am starting to investigate which is the faster, safer and more economical route from my place) It saddens me though that I need to tone down on my other community-related activities ( fellowship, AG (?), WOMs). Gee, I am starting to count the activities that I won't be there. Visita Iglesia? Lenten Retreat? Unity Games? Marami talaga akong ma-mi-miss :( but then nothing is final yet as I have not received information of my other scheds for the year. Definitely, if I am available, I won't pass the chance to participate in these events. I fervently hope to attend NLTC this year. It will all be His will.

I have finished re-reading the PDL and ang dami ko pa ring natutunan. Ang dami pa ring realizations at marami pa akong dapat baguhin sa sarili ko. Pero no worries. As the song goes, HE will be faithful to finish the work HE begun on us.

On the lighter side, I hope to do these things for this year: renew my PRC license/LTO (student) license and IECEP membership, pass my cert exams, widen my stamp collection thru trading, join our batch's cooperative. Un muna mga naiisip ko.

On the heavier side ( hehehe - mahirap kasi): lose weight ( ok, ok, sa mga friends ko, ibaba na mga kilay, hehehe. Joke lang ito!). Dapat yata dito naka categorize ung cert exams, hehehe.

Let's hope for the BEST for 2007 :)
