My friend, Marj ( who’s a very prolific writer/poet) gave this on my birthday. It’s my first time to receive a poem dedicated to me. Sarap ng feeling. :)

ON YOUR BIRTHDAY

S-uch a delightful sight greets the dawn
H-appy thoughts fill the mind
E-nvelope the heart with gratitude
R-eminding the soul of a gift
I-have found in such a wonderful friend
L-ovely as the sunrise at the East
L-ively as the chirping sparrows on the trees

B-eautiful morning escorted by the sun
O-n such a special day, everything seems flawless
R-emember each moment of the times we share
B-lessed am I to have you in my life
A-s the good Lord adds another year to your
J-ourney through life, I wish
O-nly the best of His unconditional Love and Grace
