The Cellphone Story

Remember my blog about winning another cellphone at a Tagaytay workshop? No, not the 3G phone. It's the UTStarcom phone. UTStarcom is a company in China. They sponsored the Tagaytay workshop and gave away 2 UTS cellphones. These phones are not yet commercially available in the Philippines and were regarded as one of the slimest and lightest phones in the world. Since it's made in China, the ringtones, message alerts are all in Chinese. You will not see a single English word in its manual but the main menus in the phone are in English ( Thank God!). It was cute, parang remote control. Ang gaan! I gave it to my Kuya.

Here's my bit of news:

Bad news: It was lost.....my brother suspected that it was snatched

Worse news: It was sentimental for me....nakakalungkot....ndi ko pa matanggap ( naks, talaga lang ha)

Worst news (for the person who have it right now): He/she won't be able to use it as the charger is still with us. Its charger is one-of-a kind. Unique siya. It's not commercially available in the Philippines. It might be available in China, though, but I know that the cell is not for mass production. UTS is primarily not a cellphone company but more of a telecomm equipment company.

I hope the person will just give it back to my Bro............ =)
