For the First Time...

I have not watched it. I do not have any plans of watching it...........until today. Well, in a few hours I will be watching it...huhuhuhu Why? My mom is making lambing that I accompany her, especially that I did not go home the past 2 weeks (we went to Lingkod Naga to be part of the CLP mission team but that's another story). Anyway, I told her we should not watch it as we will just contribute to the box-office success of KC's first movie (sama ko noh? hehehe. Solid AVSL pa rin kasi ako, hahaha) She told me her primary reason is curiosity. Well, in case you do not know yet, my mom is a die-hard Gabby fan (yeah, she's one of those who went to Gabby's mall show at SM Pampanga to buy his CD, hehehe). Over lunch, I was trying to influence her that watching the movie will just be a waste of money and we will just end up disappointed as per movie reviews and that I have so many things to do. Yeah, so many excuses and alibis. I told her I'll treat her to the mall in exchange to that KC movie date. But lo and behold, she's still persistent and all I need to do is concede.

This post might elicit some remarks na I am jologs (well in a way, I am...but we may have different definitions of what a jologs is) or "iiiiii si sherill, nanood ng FTFT"....but then I realized, I can handle all of this. More than anything else, I love Mom and if this will bring her joy then so be it. I'll consider this as my service to her. It's also a reminder that I am getting old...este...mature, hehhee as I can now sacrifice (naks) to watch the movies I don't like but I have to for my mom's happiness. Give and take. Kapag wala akong makasama, I remember my mom going with me to watch some English movies kahit hate niya. Or when she is swamped with work and I ask her to go with me sa mall, she'll go with me. That is LOVE. And I have to respond to that love. I blogged about my Joy List a few weeks back and one of them is making more time to bond with my family especially my mom. The following week, Bo Sanchez wrote about Joy Appointments (making a schedule to accomplish your Joy List). I guess this is it, hehehe.

God will surely find ways for us to manifest His love to others. As they say, L-O-V-E can sometimes be spelled T-I-M-E. Today, I decide to spread that love and to spend that time with my mom.

Oooppss...I have to end this post. I still have to prepare for that movie date :)
